Job Description
The Syracuse University Experimental Gravitational-Wave Group is soliciting applications for a postdoctoral researcher position for research on technology for current and future gravitational-wave detectors. Experience in one of the following areas is desired: optics, electronics, controllers, vacuum systems, or interferometric simulations for gravitational-wave detectors. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or a related field. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility for renewal. The position involves both research and advising graduate students in the group.
