Job Summary
A postdoctoral researcher is needed to develop and lead new projects on RNA-targeting CRISPR proteins and CRISPR-associated signaling mechanisms in bacteria, with applications in RNA sensing. Prior experience in protein or nucleic acid biochemistry, molecular mechanisms, structural biology/biophysics, or microbiology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead new research projects on RNA-targeting CRISPR proteins and CRISPR-associated signaling mechanisms in bacteria
- Explore the applications of these mechanisms in RNA sensing
Requirements
- Prior experience in protein or nucleic acid biochemistry
- Prior experience in molecular mechanisms
- Prior experience in structural biology/biophysics
- Prior experience in microbiology
Qualifications
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, or related field
