Job Summary

A postdoctoral researcher is needed to develop and lead new projects on RNA-targeting CRISPR proteins and CRISPR-associated signaling mechanisms in bacteria, with applications in RNA sensing. Prior experience in protein or nucleic acid biochemistry, molecular mechanisms, structural biology/biophysics, or microbiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead new research projects on RNA-targeting CRISPR proteins and CRISPR-associated signaling mechanisms in bacteria
  • Explore the applications of these mechanisms in RNA sensing

Requirements

  • Prior experience in protein or nucleic acid biochemistry
  • Prior experience in molecular mechanisms
  • Prior experience in structural biology/biophysics
  • Prior experience in microbiology

Qualifications

  • PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, or related field
