The Postdoctoral Research Fellow position within the Ikegami Lab focuses on nuclear dynamics in heart, muscle, and brain development and disease. The lab is dedicated to advancing our understanding of these processes through cutting-edge research methods.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research projects aligned with the lab’s goals
- Collaborate with senior researchers and other postdocs on interdisciplinary projects
- Present findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Participate in lab meetings and contribute to the lab’s educational initiatives
Requirements
- A PhD in a relevant field such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or neuroscience
- Experience with molecular biology techniques and animal models
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful grant writing
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
