About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to study development and aging in the context of disease pathophysiology. Our research employs a comprehensive array of models and methodologies, including molecular biology, cell lines, genetic mouse models, and transcriptomic and proteomic profiling. Responsibilities
- Designing and executing cutting-edge experiments using cell lines, ex vivo cultures, and genetic mouse models.
- Lead collaborative projects, contributing to the design of protocols, experimental strategies, and data analysis.
- Prepare and publish high-quality manuscripts and present findings at internal meetings and conferences.
- Provide guidance to graduate and undergraduate students, helping to maintain a supportive and educational environment and contribute to a positive lab culture by actively participating in lab meetings and shared responsibilities.
Qualifications
- PhD or MD/PhD in molecular and cellular biology or a related field.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications or submitted manuscripts.
- Technical expertise in cellular and molecular biology with prior animal experience, and/or prior work in tissue development and/or function is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Candidates should be able to take initiative and be capable of working independently with appropriate supervision and guidance.
- Should be able to critically evaluate relevant scientific advances and integrate this knowledge into research programs.
- Expected to maintain a high level of productivity in the laboratory setting and publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and present work at scientific conferences.
