Location: Chicago, IL USA
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team. Our research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of RNA-mediated gene regulation and how dysregulation of gene expression contributes to cancer development and progression. We combine cutting-edge experimental and computational approaches to investigate gene regulatory networks at molecular, cellular, and systems levels.
Current research areas include:
- RNA expression regulation and its role in cancer biology
- Functional genomics and gene regulatory mechanisms
- High-throughput multi-omics approaches, including RNA-seq, CRISPR screening, single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics
- Integration of bioinformatics and genomic data analysis
- Development of RNA-based molecular biomarkers for disease diagnosis and prognosis
The successful candidate will have opportunities to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment while developing expertise in both experimental and computational genomics.
