Postdoctoral Research Associate - Immunology - Chi Lab

About the role

The Chi lab at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital focuses on immunobiology, immunometabolism, and cancer immunology. We investigate metabolic regulation of the immune system and its therapeutic impacts on cancer and other diseases using interdisciplinary strategies that integrate immunological and genetic approaches with cutting-edge systems immunology and functional genomics tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply interdisciplinary strategies to study metabolic programs, signaling pathways, and regulatory networks in T cells and dendritic cells.
• Conduct in vivo CRISPR screening, single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and network reconstruction to understand the immune system and cancer.
• Collaborate with other researchers to advance knowledge in immunology and cancer research.

Requirements

• A recent Ph.D. in immunology or cell biology.
• Publication record with at least one-first author publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

Qualifications

• Strong background in immunology or cell biology.
• Experience with cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR screening, single-cell analysis, and metabolic profiling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of metabolic pathways and their impact on immunity and cancer.
• Ability to design and execute experiments using advanced techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
