Postdoctoral Research Associate
About the role
Texas A&M's Department of Statistics is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to develop advanced computational methods and collaborate with life science researchers in the analysis and interpretation of single-cell multi-omic data. This role will contribute to cutting-edge research by integrating statistical and computational approaches to address complex biological questions.
Opportunities to Contribute
- Conduct research in the area of statistical modeling for single-cell multi-omic data.
- Perform clustering, differential expression analysis, predictive modeling, and trajectory interference to trace cellular processes.
- May assist or mentor graduate students who are working on research related to the project.
Qualifications
Appropriate PhD in a related field.
A well-qualified candidate for this position will also possess:
- Working experience with Bayesian analysis and MCMC.
- Bayesian Modeling.
- MCMC computation.
- Bioinformatics.
- Clustering.
