About the role
The Cancer Genomics and Evolution Laboratory seeks talented and motivated postdoctoral researchers to spearhead projects in large-scale cancer genomics and tumor evolution. The group uses data-driven computational approaches to investigate cancer genes, mutational processes, genomic alterations, and the evolutionary history of tumors. Research is predominantly computational, with a complementary wet-lab component, and emphasizes large-scale genomic data analysis and development of innovative computational methods.

Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or a related field
- Strong and demonstrable publication record
- Research experience in cancer genomics is highly desirable
- Experience handling massively parallel sequencing data is an advantage
- Candidates from computational biology, physics, biostatistics, biology, medicine, and related disciplines are welcome
- Strong computational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative research abilities
Responsibilities
- Lead independent projects in cancer genomics and tumor evolution
- Develop and apply computational approaches to large-scale genomic datasets
- Collaborate within the laboratory and with external research partners
