Research Highlights
Employ single cell multiomics, spatial transcriptomics to identify metastasis initiating cells and their interactions with the tumor microenvironment (TME).
Carry out functional studies using 3D culture models and organoids.
Identify the underlying mechanisms using cell biology and molecular biology techniques.
Test in preclinical animal models, including PDX using humanized mice, syngeneic mouse models and xenografts.
Responsibilities
Work with PI to develop hypothesis and design experiments to test the hypothesis.
Conduct experiments, analyze data, report findings, manuscript preparation, and present at conferences.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or related fields.
- Strong background in cancer, cell, and molecular biology.
- Experience in tumor microenvironment, transcriptional regulation or epigenetics is desirable.
- Collaborative, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
- Highly motivated individual with strong intellectual curiosity.
