About the role
This is a postdoctoral fellow in the psychology child and adolescent division. This position serves as a clinical provider, researcher, and teaching/supervisor assistant position within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior, overall including a significant role within the Psychology Division, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry division, and the psychology internship program.
Responsibilities
- Perform systematic research, collaborating on departmental research projects, as well as your own research.
- Review articles prepared by others.
- Serve as a supervisor for psychology interns, teaching didactics and seminars weekly to medical students, interns, and residents on a series of various mental health topics.
- Provide clinical psychotherapy services to the community, specifically children and adolescents in various clinics within MCG/AU.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn.
