POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW – NEUROPSYCHOLOGY (INPATIENT REHAB PROGRAM)

About the role

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation Neuropsychology team at Memorial Regional Hospital South.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for patients presenting with psychological and/or neuropsychological conditions within an acute rehabilitation setting, under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.
• Play a key role in ensuring timely patient care within the rehabilitation department while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, including CARF.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of training or experience in a hospital setting, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary medical and psychiatric teams such as Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology, or Rehabilitation Psychology.
• Training in neuropsychological assessment and intervention is required for Neuropsychology fellows.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology).
• Licensed to practice psychology in the State of Florida.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical skills in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Benefits

• Opportunity to accumulate up to 2,000 supervised training hours, or 4,000 hours over two (2) years for Clinical Neuropsychology.
• One (1) year, full-time postdoctoral training program.
