About the role

The research project involves studying myeloid malignancies with human iPSCs. The project is based in the Hess Center for Science and Medicine, 1470 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029, and is supervised by Eirini Papapetrou.

Responsibilities

Technical duties include molecular biology, cell culture, mouse transplantation, data analysis, presentation and manuscript and grant writing. The successful candidate will perform experiments, analyze and present data, and assist with preparation of manuscripts and grant applications.

  • Generation, culture, hematopoietic differentiation and genetic modification of human pluripotent stem cells
  • Molecular analyses and xenograft experiments in mice
  • Analyze and present data in lab meetings, institutional work-in-progress seminars and national and international conferences

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a PhD or MD, PhD, with experience in molecular biology, cell culture, mouse transplantation, data analysis, presentation and manuscript and grant writing.

Pay

The salary range for the role is $72,500 - $80,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
