About the role
The Molecular Dynamics Lab at the Center for Integrative Brain Research, Seattle Children's Research Institute, is seeking a postdoctoral position. Projects focus on protein interaction dynamics in neuronal excitatory synapses, mTOR pathways, and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells. The lab aims to advance the study of signal transduction using quantitative multiplexed co-immunoprecipitation (QMI) technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform precise wetlab work and complex bioinformatics analyses using MatLab and R programming.
- Work closely with technicians and students to advance projects, write papers, and apply for grants.
- Contribute to the lab's research goals, particularly in synaptic transmission in neurospychiatric disease, mTOR signaling in neurons, or CAR T cell signal transduction.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university.
- Experience using basic research techniques in specialty area.
- Prior experience in molecular biology, neurobiology, T cell immunology, and/or working with mouse models of neuropsychiatric disease is a plus.
Qualifications

Skills

Pay
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
