Postdoctoral Fellow - Ming Hu Lab

About the role

The Ming Hu Lab at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in genetics, genomics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

- Independently design and conduct research projects focusing on single cell multi-omics, Alzheimer’s disease, gene regulation, and 3D genome organization. - Develop and apply novel computational methods for data integration and analysis. - Collaborate on studies involving 3D genome organization and its implications in Alzheimer’s disease and immunology. - Prepare manuscripts based on research findings.

Requirements

- PhD or MD/PhD required; MD with relevant laboratory experience may substitute for PhD. - Experience in research or academia. - Scientific writing experience. - Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, and Perl in Unix/Linux environments.

Qualifications

- Strong background in quantitative disciplines. - Experience in computational method development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Physical requirements including ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods, operate computers, and handle specimens.

Skills

- Proficiency in English. - Ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. - Familiarity with single cell multi-omics, Alzheimer’s disease, and immunology research.

Pay

- Minimum Annual Salary: $31,200.00 - Maximum Annual Salary: $95,000.00
