Postdoctoral positions are available immediately to work in the areas of DNA damage repair and cancer biology.

About the Role

The lab focuses on the roles of tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes in DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, and other signaling pathways involved in tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. Research approaches include mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, mouse genetics, large-scale proteomic studies, and whole-genome CRISPR sgRNA in vitro and in vivo screens to explore cancer-related signal transduction pathways.

We seek self-motivated and career-oriented applicants to join an exciting and highly interactive research team. The lab has a strong track record of training postdoctoral fellows who have become exceptional independent group leaders in the United States and other countries.

The research environment at MD Anderson is outstanding and nurturing, particularly for those interested in cancer biology and translational collaborations.
