Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Biology

About the role

The Carman Li Lab studies hereditary cancer development and their implications for sporadic cancer interception, with a special focus on breast cancer driven by germline mutations in the tumor suppressor gene BRCA1. The lab is recruiting postdoctoral fellows to investigate the molecular mechanisms and intervention strategies for BRCA1-related breast cancer.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent research projects using advanced genetically engineered mouse models, 3D organoid cultures, single-cell omics, patient sample analyses, and other approaches.
• Contribute to cutting-edge research advancing the frontiers of cancer biology.
• Present research findings broadly and publish discoveries in peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree.
• Experience in cancer biology and/or mouse genetics.
• Strong record of productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
