Responsibilities

• Create, update, maintain, quality control and filter, validate, and secure research projects databases.
• Develop bioinformatics and data analysis protocols and pipelines.
• Assist with faculty analytic projects.
• Write reports, design presentations, and summarize findings from analysis.
• Support the preparation and revision of internal and external written and visual materials.
• Collaborate with the Neuroscience team to create, review, and edit neuroscience presentations.
• Review and edit grants, grant materials, and manuscripts for publication.
• Apply established principles of writing and Tulane style and branding guidelines.
• Develop an understanding of Tulane Neurosciences to align materials with objectives, editorial, and brand tone and style.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in data management, database design, and bioinformatics.
• Strong programming skills in relevant languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
