Postdoctoral Associate (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology)

Department Specific Functions

• Conducts research focusing on HIV-1 and/or drug-induced mechanisms of injury to the brain endothelium and the blood-brain barrier.
• Performs cell culture research, including molecular and cellular biology experiments.
• Carries out animal experimentation to study brain injury mechanisms, adhering to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Handles HIV-1 research following safety protocols and institutional guidelines (training will be provided if needed).
• Utilizes advanced molecular biology, virology, and cellular techniques to contribute to project goals.
• Analyzes, interprets, and presents research findings in meetings, conferences, and publications.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to drive research progress and innovation.
