POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (OMM)
Responsibilities
You will serve as a POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (OFFICE MAIL MANAGER) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Ensuring all postal operations comply with U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Department of Defense (DoD), and Department of Navy (DON) policies and regulations;
- Negotiating with senior personnel at other local government agencies and activities to promote and expand mail consolidation efforts;
- Analyze and track workload (volume/type of mail), current mail handling procedures, and cost of operations;
- Analyzing overall mail operations and evaluate potential benefits/uses of automation to improve efficiency and impact on mail operations at supported customer activities;
- Overseeing mail processing and civilian/military/contractor personnel responsible for accomplishment of various postal duties.
