Responsibilities

  • Operate medical processing equipment and participate in all steps of the process including intake, drying, curing, and trimming.
  • Maintain compliance using a centralized tracking system.
  • Approve incoming flower batches by confirming specifications; conducting visual and physical verifications for production readiness.
  • Document moisture testing results by completing reports, logs, and summarizing data; input results into company databases.
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following instructions and recalibrating as needed.
  • Collect third-party testing samples.
  • "Burp" flower bins during curing to ensure optimal product quality.
  • Ensure all product is accounted for according to company policy and procedures.
  • Work flexibly across various sectors of the production department as needed.
  • Collaborate with full-time employees and other departments to create synergy.
  • Receive, sort, count, and record raw batch items; ensure proper storage and quality.
  • Prepare processed medicine according to standard work instructions and cleanliness/hygiene standards.
  • Clean counters and floors to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform packaging line duties, including loading, adjusting, labeling, and monitoring quality/quantity.
  • Attend to other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Controls and instrumentation experience.
  • Ability to ensure timeliness of return from breaks.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, controlled environment with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects.
  • Processing quality experience.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision and manage changes in working schedule.
  • Must be 18 years of age and able to pass a level 2 background screening.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to work seated/standing for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE (e.g., eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection).
  • Able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (temperatures of 95 degrees or greater).
  • Visual acuity (with/without aids) for reading, computer work, and inspection of small parts/details; clarity of vision at 20+ feet in day/night conditions.
  • Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels in moderate noise environments.
