Post Harvest Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute post-harvest tasks including buck down, curing, sorting, and trimming
• Maintain product quality and consistency during handling
• Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines
• Accurately complete required documentation and tracking
• Assist team members and leads with daily tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a background check in compliance with state regulations
• Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Physical demands: Frequently remains in a stationary position, moves and/or positions oneself, communicates, operates and/or prepares, places, positions objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lb. Comfortable with heights, ascending/descending a ladder, working atop and traversing scaffolding, and changing environment temperatures and humidity.
• Mental demands: Close observation and ability to adjust focus.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements.

Working Environment

• Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
