Duties/Responsibilities
- Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Aiding with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Operating a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Receiving and carrying out instructions.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
- Ability to work at heights exceeding 20 feet.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to work alone once instructions have been given.
- Ability to work a 40-hour week with overtime.
Education/Experience
- Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; OR the equivalent on-the-job training and experience preferred.
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required.
- Class A CDL preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to and in excess of 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and elements.
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to wear proper PPE and any other safety related equipment.
