Job Summary

To pursue specialized research training, education, and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Department of Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Pursues research projects of considerable scope and complexity in the assigned research lab.
• Captures and analyzes data for research funded by various agencies and institutions.
• Selects and studies problems relevant to the research field.
• Develops and tests new experimental techniques and protocols.
• Attends research seminars and collaborates with peers.
• Contributes to the preparation of manuscripts and supports technical writing.
• Supports the preparation of grant applications for extramural funding.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, or a related field.
• Strong research skills, data analysis proficiency, and statistical expertise.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
• Independent research capabilities and a strong trajectory towards research productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a background check.
