Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Position Overview: Seeking a self-motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to join a laboratory focused on neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorder research. The role involves developing brain organoid models carrying disease risk alleles, utilizing patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) and advanced techniques such as single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CRISPR gene editing, and electrophysiological analyses. Key Responsibilities Lead NIH-funded projects and work independently under supervisionDevelop and optimize neural models and experimentsPrepare scientific manuscripts and proposals for fellowshipsIdentify and troubleshoot experimental issuesEnsure compliance with research regulations and assist with research documentation Qualifications PhD or MD in a relevant science fieldBackground in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Neuroscience, or Genomics preferredExperience with iPSC culture, organoid differentiation, and neuroscience research is advantageousExcellent communication skills Key Skills: Independent research capability, strong problem-solving, and scientific writing abilities.
