Job Title: Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Job Description Summary: Focuses on advancing research in systems optimization and safety engineering and contributing to the academic and professional development goals of the department. This role includes opportunities for collaborative research, and mentorship, supporting the ISE department’s commitment to excellence in education and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed a Ph.D. in Engineering (human factors engineering, data analytics, or manufacturing) or any area in industrial and systems engineering or closely related fields by the appointment date.
- Competency in research techniques.
- Effective oral and written communication skills for grant writing and manuscript publication.
Special Instructions to Applicants
Other requirements: (1) a 1-page letter of intent (2) a 1-page statement of commitment to engineering education and vision. (3) a 2-page statement of research vision for broadening participation in engineering. This should include details on the design and implementation of research protocols with a timeline and the framework for broadening the participation of undergraduate and graduate students in engineering.
