About the role
The Postdoctoral Associate will conduct biomedical research to study:
- how the body naturally inhibits chronic pain to allow for survival behaviors by engaging neural circuitry that regulates neuropeptide Y receptor–expressing neurons in the parabrachial nucleus
- whether the subpopulation of sensory neurons that express TRPM8 are necessary for behavioral and neural signs of neuropathic pain in mice with multiple sclerosis–like disease called EAE
