About the role
Kaleidoscope Counseling & Assessment is seeking a Post-Doctoral PhD candidate to focus on assessments and autism testing. The center supports a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families, with an emphasis on addressing Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and social skills challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing, particularly for Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Provide psychotherapy services, including individual, family, and group therapy
- Engage in both individual and group supervision to enhance clinical and assessment skills
- Participate in case management, progress note writing, and community outreach activities
Preferred Qualities
- A strong interest in systemic approaches combined with cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Passion for working with children, families, and adults
- Preference for candidates with coursework or experience in Family Therapy and Group Therapy
Qualifications
This position requires a PhD in Psychology or a related field, with a specialization in assessments and autism testing. Candidates must have completed their doctoral degree and be eligible for post-doctoral training.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments are essential. Experience with autism spectrum disorders and familiarity with cognitive-behavioral therapy are preferred.
