About the role
The Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow position will be housed within the OSU Behavioral Medicine Clinic, part of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This is a 12-month, full-time training program designed to meet the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists' postdoctoral supervision and training requirements for licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient medical setting.
- Refined assessment, therapy, and consultation skills across diverse client populations.
- Specialize in areas such as integrated behavioral health, trauma, neuropsychological assessment, and school-based services.
- Participate in didactic seminars, supervision of trainees, multidisciplinary collaboration, and program development.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
- Degree must be conferred prior to the fellowship start date.
- Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited predoctoral internship.
- Demonstrated competence in psychological assessment and intervention with children and/or adults.
Qualifications
- Eligibility for postdoctoral supervision toward licensure in the State of Oklahoma.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge
- Experience working in medical, academic, or interdisciplinary behavioral health settings.
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice, diversity, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Pay
Commensurate with education and experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
