About the role
The Dr. Bo Lu Laboratory in the NextGen Precision Health building at the University of Missouri is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on research projects studying the biology of immunotherapy combined with radiotherapy for cancer treatments.
Responsibilities
- Perform cell culture, flow cytometry, western blots, real-time PCR, RNA-seq, immune fluorescence, ELISA and other molecular biological and cellular immunological techniques in vitro and in vivo mouse tumor models.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of experiments and results.
- Present discoveries at national and international meetings.
- Prepare manuscripts.
- Help train new graduate students/lab members.
Requirements
- Recent PhD in immunology, cell biology or a related field by start of appointment.
- Proficiency in cellular biology and multicolor flow cytometry.
- Previous experience with mouse handling.
