Responsibilities
- Handling, breeding, and genotyping animals
- Collecting tissues from different animal experiments
- Performing qRT-PCR and Western blots
- Performing flow cytometry
- Working with mice at Beauvoir
- Training in mice intermittent hypoxia, sleep fragmentation, and data analysis
- Drafting manuscripts and grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field
- Experience with animal handling and genotyping
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as qRT-PCR and Western blotting
- Experience with flow cytometry
- Experience working with mice and conducting related experiments
- Strong writing skills for scientific publications and grant proposals
