Responsibilities

  • Assist management of ongoing studies related to cognition, mood, and behavior
  • Designs and implements modifications of lab-related and independent research protocols
  • Troubleshooting problems and instructing colleagues in highly specialized techniques
  • Synthesize and interpret results
  • Perform advanced data recording and analysis using various software programs and statistical techniques – must be comfortable with R and statistical software
  • Knowledge and experience working with LLMs, Machine Learning, and Time Series Analyses is preferred
  • Experience analyzing voice data is a bonus but not required
  • Presentation of results at lab meetings and national conferences
  • Preparation and submission of research manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals
  • Assisting with preparation of grant applications
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

A PhD in clinical neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computational neuroscience / biology, quantitative psychology, human-computer interaction or a related field (or equivalent)

Prior lab experience required. Must have evidence of strong scientific productivity, including peer-reviewed publications.

  • Able to work well with other lab members

Skills

Knowledge and experience working with LLMs, Machine Learning, and Time Series Analyses is preferred.
