Post-Doctoral Fellow
About the role
The NIH R01-funded laboratory in the Division of Hematology and the Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia is recruiting one to two postdoctoral fellows to join our research team. Our lab studies G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling in platelet biology, thrombosis, and vascular disease, with the goal of developing next-generation antithrombotic therapies.
Job Description
Current projects utilize cutting-edge approaches, including CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, transgenic mouse models, iPSC-based genome-wide screening, intravital microscopy, vascular injury/thrombosis models, and advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques. We seek highly motivated candidates with strong research experience in molecular and cellular biology; prior experience in hematology, thrombosis, or platelet biology is preferred but not required.
Requirements

Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field
- Experience with CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, transgenic mouse models, iPSC-based genome-wide screening, intravital microscopy, vascular injury/thrombosis models, and advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques
Skills
