About the role
The Postdoctoral Researcher in Manufacturing and AI will support the advancement of convergent research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:
- Project Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of ongoing research projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Student Mentorship: Mentor undergraduate and graduate students, guiding them through research methodologies and professional growth.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with faculty and research staff to identify funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of proposals for grants.
- Research and Innovation: Conduct independent research in AI applications within the manufacturing sector, develop new research initiatives, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Collaboration and Networking: Engage with academic, industry, and governmental partners to explore potential collaborations and present research findings at conferences.
- Publication and Dissemination: Prepare and submit research papers to peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and collaborate on publishing research outcomes and technical reports.
