About the role
COD is seeking equity-minded adjunct faculty to teach in-person business statistics courses. The role supports the College’s mission to advance student education and embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction consistent with official course outlines
- Develop and distribute syllabi with objectives, grading criteria, and policies
- Provide timely feedback on student work and grades
- Refer students to tutoring and support services when needed
- Maintain classroom and equipment safety
- Participate in optional activities such as curriculum development, office hours, dual-enrollment programs, advisory committees, and professional development
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, or Business Education, OR a Bachelor’s degree in one of these areas with a Master’s in Economics, Public Administration, Personnel Management, or a Juris Doctor (JD/LL.B.)
- Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
Qualifications
Candidates not meeting minimum qualifications may submit an Equivalency Request Form. Degrees earned outside the U.S. require a Foreign Equivalency Evaluation.
