Position Summary

The Ostrom Workshop at Indiana University is seeking a postdoctoral research position in Technology Governance. This position aims to provide mentored research training and experience for a postdoc fellow whose interests align with fields such as artificial intelligence governance, Big Data, cybersecurity, data governance, knowledge commons, critical infrastructure protection, and smart cities. The postdoc fellow will work under the mentorship of core faculty including Professors Angie Raymond, Scott Shackelford, and Gustavo Torrens.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Ph.D., S.J.D., or other terminal doctoral degree in Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Informatics, Law, Business, Ethics, Public Policy, Media Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Education, Psychological and Brain Sciences, or International Relations.

Additional Qualifications

This position is for one year with an option to renew for one additional year. The start date is expected to be September 1, 2026, but is negotiable.
