Director of Technology Governance

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish IT governance framework and policies
• Ensure regulatory alignment and compliance
• Lead IT risk management and controls
• Cook up audits and regulatory exams
• Coordinate with third-party and vendor lifecycle management
• Oversee contracts and vendor performance
• Define governance KPIs and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement of controls
• Partner with Risk, Legal, and Procurement
• Lead governance and vendor management teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree from four-year college or university in IT, Business, Risk or related degree
• Ten years experience in governance, risk, or vendor management
• A strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees in Technology Governance
• Interviews, hires, trains, appraises, rewards, disciplines, addresses complaints, and resolves problems

Remote positions are intended to be filled in states within our footprint, which includes: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Any exception to this policy requires further regulatory review and approval by management.
