Position Summary
A postdoctoral position is available in the Flick laboratory within the UNC Blood Research Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Individuals with experience in either cancer biology or coagulation/thrombosis and interest in interdisciplinary work to drive understanding in this exciting frontier are encouraged to apply. Anticipated work will include cell and molecular biology, mouse tumor and thrombosis models, and translational assays in clinical coagulation.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
- PhD or MD in a biological science, or related discipline.
- Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience:
- Candidates must have high initiative and enthusiasm for research, exceptional organizational skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
- Experience in mouse models of cancer and/or coagulation biology preferred.
- Working knowledge of mouse surgical techniques.
