About the role

The position involves management oversight of a team responsible for comprehensive quality reviews with a focus on operational risk management, internal manual controls, state guidelines, and product-specific internal overlays. This includes partnering with segment leadership, risk, and compliance to provide meaningful input through comprehensive reviews and oversight of data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reviews to evaluate individual quality performance and report results against internal departmental quality standards.
  • Manages team performance to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and/or exceeded.
  • Serves as a point of contact for ad hoc quality and control requests related to post-closing performance results.
  • Collaborates with management to align risk ratings and provides a monthly summary report and findings to sales, fulfillment, and post-closing leadership.
  • Drives root cause analysis and develops applicable action plans related to process and/or technology changes.
  • Affords support and facilitates leadership training programs tailored to department needs or individual teammate issues.

Qualifications

  • College degree and 2 years of work experience in a back office operations area.
  • Demonstrated successful management of a team of 5+ people.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation.
  • Ability to support multiple tasks with varying levels of complexity, importance, and involvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailed and motivated, capable of functioning well in a team environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to quickly comprehend information.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products.

Annual Base Salary

$57,000 to $80,000 annually.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous closing/post-closing experience.
