Post Close Specialist - Title Insurance

Duties
- Review each executed set of loan documents for accuracy via manual audit or automated audit (AI) of the borrower’s signature, witness signatures, notary execution of the documents (as required by each state), legal description review, and that all documents have been completed to meet the lender's requirements.
- Scan loan packages, prepare certified true recordables, and ship loan documents to the lenders and borrowers.
- File documents and maintain file cabinet organization.
- Ship all executed documents to the lender by following the instructions provided in the lender’s closing package.
- Manage daily workload effectively and efficiently.
- Follow the workflow for returning documents, noting the system, and completing the required events.
- Work with the Team Lead on resolving post-closing issues and questions.
- Involvement in addressing escalations, involving the Team Lead as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of related experience in the title insurance industry or financial services organization preferred.
- Experience with RamQuest closing operations system and all integration systems is preferred.
- National experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as title commitments, lender’s instructions, purchase contracts, and other related documents required to verify the lender’s closing requirements have been met.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow workflow and manage daily workload.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Essential functions may require occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, reach overhead, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
