Job Details

We are seeking a junior litigation associate to join our broader disputes practice. This role is designed for attorneys who have recently completed a judicial clerkship and are looking to transition into a law firm environment where they can take on meaningful responsibility early.

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other written advocacy
  • Assist with deposition preparation, witness interviews, and case strategy development
  • Participate in client communications and internal strategy discussions
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support complex matters
  • Manage discrete assignments while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, or a combination of clerkship and firm experience
  • Completion of a judicial clerkship required
  • Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills
  • Experience handling substantive research and drafting assignments
  • Exposure to complex litigation matters preferred

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state you will be practicing in
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
