About the role
This vital role supports and enables groundbreaking research across the University of Kentucky. With employees in the department currently working across the U.S. and from both coasts, this is a great remote work opportunity. For those near Lexington, KY, hybrid work may also be available.
Responsibilities
- Support sponsored award accounting and compliance including ensuring all charges are compliant and preventing over- or under-spending of awards
- Enter and analyze data within various sponsor and university financial-related systems
- Maintain current knowledge of sponsored project policy and related university rules and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely response and follow-up related to these duties
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am EST – 5:00 pm EST; additional hours especially during peak deadline times. Can be fully remote or hybrid if near Lexington, KY.
Required Education / Experience
- Master's degree and one (1) year of experience
- High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of experience
- Associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience
- Doctorate degree and no experience
