Post Adoption Specialist/Parent Educator

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Post Adoption Specialist/Parent Educator to support birth and adoptive families. This role involves providing resources, training, advocacy, and support to ensure successful parenting and permanent placements for children. You will help develop family-centered plans tailored to individual needs to help families thrive together.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources and support to birth and adoptive families.
• Conduct training interventions for parents.
• Advocate for families and assist in navigating services.
• Collaborate with families to create and implement family-centered plans.
• Travel to meet families as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree mandatory—Human Services field strongly preferred. However, a combination of a bachelor's degree in any field plus relevant job experience in human services working with children and families can also be considered.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible/varied part-time hours.
• Experience working with children and families.

Pay

$20.69 per hour.
