We are looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data processing pipelines using Scala and Spark
- Optimize data workflows and improve performance of big data systems
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decisions
- Ensure data quality and reliability across large-scale distributed systems
Requirements
- Strong experience with Scala and Apache Spark
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, or Kafka
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Experience with streaming data processing is a plus
