Position : Mainframe Developer (Contract)

About the role

Provide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub applications. Monitor production systems and ensure system stability and uptime. Analyze and troubleshoot failed mainframe jobs (JCL). Perform root cause analysis and support ad hoc job executions. Partner with Production Control to restart and recover failed jobs. Respond to business user requests and application team needs. Maintain and update incident tracking (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence). Monitor and respond to application group mailboxes. Document incidents, resolutions, and create JIRA stories for follow-up.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Mainframe Production Support (application support required)
• Technologies/tools: JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA7, IDCAMS, Mainview
• File tools: File Manager, File Analyzer, EZTRIEV
• Experience with ticketing and documentation tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence or similar)
