About the Role

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, contributing to program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.

Schedule

• Full time, 1.0 FTE
• Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional additional hours as needed

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Previous PA, NP, or RN experience in an inpatient pulmonary or lung transplant setting strongly preferred

Minimum Education

• Advanced Practice Nurse: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization
• Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization

Minimum Requirements

• Advanced Practice Nurse/Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner:
  • Wisconsin RN License
  • Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP (AGACNP) highly preferred)
• Physician Assistant:
  • Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
  • Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
