Posiflush Production Operator
About the role
Produce quality Posiflush syringes at the rate or goal set for each line while working as a team with other operators and keeping the area and machines clean. Complete quality checks at the required frequency. Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, best practices, and all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations and policies.
Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read, write, and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.
Responsibilities
- Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance; make adjustments as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.
- Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
- Assist line technicians or setter/operators with equipment repair or troubleshooting.
- Keep machinery, work area, and floors neat and orderly; comply with GMP requirements.
- Perform quality inspections, process tests, and record data accurately as required.
- Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
- Work as a team member to develop optimal task methods.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
- Assignments may include ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, Multi Vac/Case Pak.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of a diploma or GED, two years of manufacturing experience is required.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to keep and maintain detailed documentation and communication.
- Proficient teamwork skills.
- Basic organization skills.
- PCP Level/Nivel: 3.
This role requires a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations.
