Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure high cleaning standards throughout the assigned building, including restrooms, cafeteria break areas, and plant offices.
• Follow the daily task schedule assigned for completion.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Maintain supply levels in responsible areas and restock as needed.
• Respond to customer complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Provide customer service to all individuals using Gentex facilities.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Responsible for other cleaning duties as needed.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in cleaning/housekeeping.
• Preferred high school graduate.
• Preferred good understanding of cleaning materials and housekeeping.
• Physical stamina to cover large building spaces.
• Comfortable maneuvering around furniture and fixtures (e.g., bending, twisting, flexing, kneeling) while using cleaning materials.
• Attention to detail.

This position reports to the Cleaning Group Leader.
