A Day In The Life

In the position of POS Shipping & Receiving Lead, you will be responsible for assigning orders and monitoring staff under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

• Oversee the daily fulfillment of orders and ensure team members are working efficiently and effectively to meet operational goals
• Assign and coordinate daily shipping and receiving tasks among team members
• Lead and help oversee staff performance to ensure productivity and accuracy
• Maintain the timely fulfillment, packing, and shipment of orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
• Update and maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
• Communicate issues, updates, and performance to the Shift Supervisor
• Maintain workflow and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet deadlines
• Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, and warehouse best practices
• Monitor special projects when assigned
