About the role
We are seeking a Field Technician to provide onsite technical support across multiple business locations within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality end-user support, resolving technical issues, installing and maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring a positive customer experience through responsive and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite technical support and end-user assistance
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices, servers)
- Install and maintain IT equipment, including POS systems and plug-and-play devices
- Use ticketing systems to document, track, and manage installs and service requests
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge management practices
- Escalate issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
- Provide status updates and manage customer expectations according to SLA requirements
- Check in, deliver pictures, and maintain documentation
- Work independently while collaborating across teams
Requirements
- Experience supporting a wide range of hardware, software, and networking technologies in a field-based environment
- POS/Point of Sale systems experience
- Retail store working experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Experience using ticketing systems

Pay
The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
