About the role
The Deloitte Strategy & Transactions (S&T) team offers comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, including valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. We work closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leading independent valuation analyses for illiquid assets and complex financial instruments, with a focus on corporate credit, term loans, private debt, private equity, alternative investments and structured and securitized products
- Building, reviewing, and refining cash flow and valuation models, including assumptions, limitations, and sensitivity analyses
- Preparing audit-ready valuation documentation and supporting financial reporting valuation needs for derivatives, debt instruments, and employee stock option plans
- Conducting credit and portfolio analysis, validating third-party manager reports and underlying data, and advising clients on valuation implications for regulatory, compliance, and stakeholder needs
- Leading day-to-day engagement execution by collaborating with audit and client stakeholders, communicating technical findings clearly, and coaching junior team members across multiple concurrent projects

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in business valuation consulting or intangible asset valuation consulting
- 4+ years of experience valuing debt, equity, and structured securities
- 4+ years of experience performing credit analysis or portfolio analysis
- Ability to apply generally accepted valuation approaches, including income, market, and cost approaches, and develop financial models for common stock, business entities, or intangible assets
- Experience valuing or pricing illiquid and complex financial instruments, including structured or securitized products, private credit, or alternative investments
Preferred
- Master's degree in Finance
- Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
